The calibrated energy meter can be used to acquire and bill active energy in industrial, household, commercial and building management applications.
-
The calibrated, compact energy meters included in our Compact Line product range can be used to acquire and bill active energy in industrial, household, commercial and building management applications.
-
Energy, power, current, voltage and frequency can be measured at individual consuming devices in low-voltage systems with the ENERGYSENS intelligent sensor system. Energy consumption can thus be represented with more detailed localization and monitoring, as well as more transparently. This helps to avoid unnecessary costs and makes a contribution to sustainable company development.

The multitalented SMARTCONTROL expands the Energy Control System (ECS), which is widespread in industry and building technology. It unites logging of energy and consumption data for a wide variety of media with peak load optimization, control functions and error message management. And thus it not only possible to monitor consumption, it can be influenced as well. Valuable resources can be used more efficiently, energy costs can be lastingly reduced and opportunities provided by modern energy management can be fully exploited.

The SMARTLOGGER expands the Energy Control System (ECS), which is widespread in industry and building technology, for use in applications with just a few measuring points.

As opposed to bushing-type current transformers, wound-primary current transformers have 4 screw terminals. Primary and secondary current are both connected by means of terminals. Wound-primary current transformers are suitable for low amperage current for which bushing-type current transformers cannot be used.
-
Bushing-type current transformers are slipped over the primary conductor. Time consuming wiring is eliminated in this way. The secondary side (as a rule a measuring instrument, a display or a controller) is connected via terminals. Bushing-type current transformers are available with ratings as of 75A in various sizes for busbars and cables.

Star-type ECS-LAN topologies may be arranged with several routers which are connected via a 2-wire bus. The outputs have a 4-wire bus design with booster.
-
A booster has to be installed at the beginning and end of the extended transmission range. It needs a power supply: 20 - 70 VDC
-
The M-Bus module transmits data from the energy meter to a logging system using the M-Bus protocol.
-
The Modbus module transmits data from the energy meter to a logging system via an RS 485 interface using the Modbus RTU or ASCII protocol.
-
The LAN gateway module makes it possible to access an energy meter via a web browser from any PC with Internet/LAN access.
