Developed, after extensive customer research, specifically to meet the needs of today electrical contractors, the new MIT300 range of insulation and continuity testers from Megger is not only durable and easy to use, but also incorporates a comprehensive set of features designed to ensure operator safety, even under conditions of accidental misuse.

The range includes four models, ensuring an exact match for the needs of every user, all of which offer automatic discharge of the circuit after testing, audible and visual warning if the test probes are applied to a live circuit, and a test inhibit feature which operates automatically under live circuit conditions. The units also conform fully to IEC 61010-1 for use in Category III 600V applications, and provide all of the facilities needed to meet insulation testing requirements relating to the current edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.

The MIT400 mk2 series insulation and continuity testers are
designed not just for Electrical and Industrial, but with an exceptionally wide range of applications from electrical installations, cable testing, motor testing, automotive, ESD, panel building, avionics, maintenance etc.

Insulation testing has been enhanced with feedback controlled test voltages to limit over-voltage to 2%, rather than the industry standard 10-20%.

The MJ459 and MJ159 replace the BM12 and MJ10, respectively.

Four models are available for general purpose testing which include a low-voltage model.

All are portable, self-contained instruments designed to give rapid and accurate measurements.

Four of the models feature an analog display having four selectable test voltages of 100, 250, 500 and 1000 V dc, measuring insulation resistance up to 2000 Mand an ohm range to 5000 ohms. The other model has four test voltages of 50, 100, 250 and 500 V dc measuring insulation resistance up to 1000 M

These Insulation Resistance Testers are the ideal instruments when high ranges are needed for measuring insulation resistance. Both provide excellent test voltage regulation and an external guard terminal to eliminate surface leakage current from the measurement.

The Megger MTB7671 instrument test box is produced by Britain premier test instrument manufacturer. For that reason it tests your testers to the requirements of British Standards.
