Gossen Metrawatt U1664 Bus Termination for LON

The U1664 bus termination is used as accessory component for the LON interface at the U1601 summator, the U1602 micro-summator and the U1603 mini-summator.

The U1664 bus termination is necessary for LON bus topologies in order to terminate the rear end of the bus with a resistance of 52.5 Ohms. The 52.5 Ohm bus termination which is integrated into the summator is used at the front end of the bus.

The termination integrated into the summator is sufficient if free topology is used, and must be set to 105 Ohms. This also applies in principal to bus segments which have been extended through the use of a repeater.
